While public buses connect La Fortuna with other regional destinations, there isn't a direct bus route that stops right at Don Tobias Horses. You can take a bus towards Arenal Volcano National Park and get off close to the location, but it will require some walking. Bus fares from La Fortuna to nearby points are around $5-$7. From the bus stop, a taxi may be needed to cover the remaining distance.

If driving from La Fortuna, head west on Route 142 towards Arenal Volcano National Park. Don Tobias Horses is located 7 km from downtown. Parking is available on-site.
