Car
From La Fortuna Waterfall, head south on Route 142. Continue for about 3 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Route 120. Turn left onto Route 120 and drive for approximately 1 kilometer. You will see signage for Los Lagos indicating the entrance on your right. Follow the road to the parking area.

Public Transportation
To reach Los Lagos via public transportation, return to the main square in La Fortuna. Look for local shuttle services or buses that head towards Arenal Volcano or La Fortuna's attractions. Confirm with the driver that they will drop you off near Los Lagos. The fare typically ranges from $2 to $5. Once dropped off, follow the signs to the entrance which is about a 10-minute walk from the drop-off point.

Walking
If you're feeling adventurous and are staying in La Fortuna town, you can walk to Los Lagos. From the center of La Fortuna, take Avenida 1 and walk south until you reach Route 142. Turn left and continue walking for about 3 kilometers. Keep an eye out for the entrance to Los Lagos on your right. This walk will take approximately 40-50 minutes, so wear comfortable shoes.
