If you're driving from the nearby town of Dominical, take the Costanera Sur highway (Route 34) southbound. Continue for approximately 30 minutes until you reach the intersection for Uvita. Turn left onto Route 245, which leads directly into Uvita. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Route 2, where you will see signs for Bahía Ballena. Follow the signs for Bahía Ballena, and after about 10 minutes, you will arrive at the beach area.

To travel by bus, start at the main bus terminal in Dominical. Look for the bus service to Uvita, which runs frequently throughout the day. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Uvita bus terminal, you can either walk or catch a local taxi to Bahía Ballena. It is approximately a 10-minute taxi ride, and you can expect to pay around $10 for the fare. If you prefer to walk, follow the same route mentioned for cars.

If you prefer a direct route without public transportation, you can hire a taxi from any location in Uvita or surrounding areas. Taxis are readily available, and the fare from Uvita to Bahía Ballena should be around $10-$15.
