    If you're driving, start from the main entrance of Cahuita National Park. Head south on Route 36 (also known as the Costanera Sur) for about 2.5 kilometers. As you approach the small town of Cahuita, watch for signs indicating the park entrance. Once you enter the park, follow the main road which will lead you deeper into the park. Continue along this road for approximately 1.8 kilometers until you reach a fork. Take the left fork, which leads towards Mirador Ots Omarini. After about 500 meters, you will arrive at the viewpoint. Make sure to park in designated areas only.

  • Public Transportation

    If you're using public transportation, take a bus from Puerto Viejo to Cahuita. Buses run frequently and the fare is typically around $1-2. Once you arrive in Cahuita, you can walk or take a taxi to the entrance of Cahuita National Park. The park entrance is about 2 kilometers from the bus stop. After entering the park, follow the main road for approximately 1.8 kilometers and take the left fork at the next intersection towards Mirador Ots Omarini. Continue for another 500 meters to reach the viewpoint. Keep in mind that walking may take about 25-30 minutes from the bus stop.
