Getting There

  • Car

    If you are driving, start from the main entrance of Cahuita National Park. Head south on Route 36 (Main road). After approximately 1.5 km, you will see a sign for Playa Blanca. Turn right onto the dirt road leading to the beach area. Follow the dirt road for about 2 km until you reach the parking area near Playa Blanca. Please note that there may be a small parking fee, typically around $2 USD.

    To reach Playa Blanca via public transportation, first, make your way to the Cahuita bus stop. Look for the buses heading towards Puerto Viejo. Inform the driver that you wish to get off at Playa Blanca. The fare is usually around $1-2 USD.
