Car
If you are traveling by car, start on Route 36 which connects you to Cahuita. Once you are in Cahuita, look for the signs directing you to Cahuita National Park. The entrance to the park is well marked. Alby Lodge is located only 200 meters from the national park entrance. After entering Cahuita, keep an eye out for a small road on the left side shortly after passing the park entrance; Alby Lodge will be on your right side. Parking is available at the lodge.

Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, take a bus from Puerto Viejo to Cahuita. The bus fare is typically around 500-700 CRC (Costa Rican Colón). Once you arrive at the Cahuita bus station, exit and walk towards the entrance of Cahuita National Park. Alby Lodge is just a short walk from the park entrance, approximately 200 meters down the road. You will walk towards the entrance and then look for a small road on your right; Alby Lodge will be on your right side. This is an easy 5-minute walk.

The taxi fare can vary, so be sure to negotiate the price beforehand; expect to pay around 10,000-15,000 CRC for a one-way trip from Puerto Viejo to Alby Lodge. The taxi driver will know where to take you, just tell them you want to go to Alby Lodge, located 200 meters from the Cahuita National Park entrance.
