Park your car here and walk down the marked trail towards the waterfall, which is about a 20-minute hike.

    From the Cahuita National Park entrance, you can take a local bus heading towards Puerto Viejo. Ask the driver to drop you off at the junction for Secret Waterfall (often referred to as 'Catarata Secreta') which is about 5 kilometers from the park. Once you get off the bus, walk down the dirt road for approximately 1 kilometer to the waterfall trailhead. The hike takes about 20 minutes. Be sure to check the bus schedule for return times.
