La Tica y la Gata is located about 800 meters south of the 'Entrada Caribbean Fitness'. From the center of Puerto Viejo, walk south along the main road, Carretera Principal, in the direction of Cocles. Look for the Caribbean Fitness entrance, then turn right and walk 800 meters. The hotel will be on your right. Walking from the center of town takes approximately 15-20 minutes.

If arriving by bus from another town like Cahuita or Limón, get off at the main bus stop in Puerto Viejo. From there, you can walk to La Tica y la Gata (approximately 15-20 minutes) or take a taxi. The local bus company, MEPE, operates routes along the Caribbean coast. A one-way bus ticket within Puerto Viejo costs around 600 CRC.
