From the main entrance of Cahuita National Park, head southeast on the main road (Route 36) towards Puerto Viejo. After approximately 3 km, you will see a sign for Playa Chiquita. Turn right onto the access road, which leads directly to Playa Chiquita. There is a small parking area available. Please note that parking may incur a fee, typically around $2-5 USD.

Public Transportation - Bus
If you are using public transportation, catch a bus labeled 'Puerto Viejo' from the bus stop near the entrance of Cahuita National Park. The bus will take you along Route 36. Ask the driver to drop you off at the Playa Chiquita stop, which is about 3 km from the park. The bus fare is usually around $1-2 USD. From the bus stop, it is a short walk (about 5-10 minutes) to the beach.
