If you are in Puerto Viejo, start at the main street (Calle 213) that runs through the town. Head south towards Playa Cocles, which is approximately 2 kilometers away. As you walk, you will pass by various shops and restaurants. Keep an eye out for signs pointing to Playa Cocles. After about 25-30 minutes of walking, you will reach the beach area. Look for a path leading to the beach; you will know you are close when you start to hear the waves.
