The walk is approximately 15-20 minutes from most hotels in Tamarindo. Be aware of the strong undertow if you choose to walk along the beach.

    From anywhere in Tamarindo, a taxi to the estuary tour location will cost approximately $5 - $10. Alternatively, if driving, be aware that parking in Tamarindo can be challenging, especially during peak season. Paid parking is available near the beach for around ₡5000 per day. Some hotels offer free parking, so check with your accommodation. Be aware of unofficial 'watchmen' who may ask for payment to watch your car. Uber is available in Tamarindo.
