If you're traveling by car from La Fortuna Waterfall, start by heading southeast on Route 142 (also known as Road to La Fortuna) for about 3.5 kilometers. After approximately 3.5 km, turn right onto Route 702. Continue on Route 702 for about 2 kilometers until you see the signs for Sloth’s Territory. Follow the signs to the parking area, which is available on-site. Be aware that there may be a small parking fee.

If you prefer public transportation, you can catch a local bus from La Fortuna to the nearby area of Sloth’s Territory. Look for buses that head towards El Castillo or Arenal. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. You will need to get off at the nearest stop to Sloth’s Territory, which is about a 15-minute walk from the bus stop. Just ask the driver to let you know when you reach the closest stop. Once you disembark, follow the signs leading to Sloth’s Territory. The walk will take you through a scenic area, so enjoy the view!
