If you are traveling by car, head towards La Fortuna from your accommodation. Take Route 142 towards La Fortuna and follow the signs for the town. Once you reach La Fortuna, look for the signs directing you to Ecocentro Danaus. The Butterfly Garden - Jardin de Mariposas La Fortuna is located at Ecocentro Danaus, which is approximately 3 km from La Fortuna center. The entrance to the garden is on the right side of the road.

By Public Transportation
To reach the Butterfly Garden using public transportation, take a local bus from La Fortuna heading towards San Carlos or La Fortuna to Ecocentro Danaus. Buses run frequently, and the fare is usually around 500-700 CRC (Costa Rican Colón). Inform the bus driver that you are heading to Ecocentro Danaus. The bus will drop you off near the entrance to the garden.
