Car
If you are driving from central Limón, head southwest on Avenida 2 towards Calle 4. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Calle 8, then turn left. After approximately 1 kilometer, turn right onto Route 32 (Carretera Braulio Carrillo). Follow Route 32 for about 120 km until you reach the sign for San José. Take the exit for San José and continue on Route 1. Keep an eye out for the signs directing you to Parque de la Paz in the Cascajal area. The park is located at approximately 9.913790299999999 latitude and -84.0718156 longitude. Parking is typically available near the entrance.

To reach Parque de la Paz using public transport, start at the Limón bus terminal. Look for buses heading to San José, as most will pass close to the park. The bus ride to San José takes approximately 3-4 hours. Once you arrive at the San José terminal, you can take a taxi or use a ridesharing app to get to Parque de la Paz, which is about a 15-minute ride from the terminal. Make sure to communicate the destination clearly to the driver, as it may not be a common stop. The taxi fare should be around $10-15.
