Getting There

Car
From the center of Manuel Antonio, head southeast on Route 618 towards Quepos. After about 1.5 kilometers (approximately 5 minutes), look for signs pointing to Playa Biesanz. Turn left onto the road leading to the beach, which will be a gravel road. Continue for about 500 meters until you reach a small parking area. Parking may cost around 2,000 to 5,000 CRC depending on the time of day.

Public Transportation
Take a local bus from the main bus stop in Manuel Antonio heading towards Quepos. Inform the driver that you wish to visit Playa Biesanz. The bus ride will take approximately 10-15 minutes. Get off when you reach the entrance to the Playa Biesanz road. From there, it is a short walk of about 500 meters down the gravel road to the beach. Be prepared for a bit of uphill walking when returning.

If you are already in the Manuel Antonio National Park, exit the park and walk towards the main road (Route 618). Once you reach the main road, follow the directions as if driving, or simply ask locals for guidance to Playa Biesanz.
