Walking
From your hotel or location in Manuel Antonio, head towards the main road (Camino a la Playa). Walk south for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with the Uvita road (Ruta 34). At this point, you can either continue walking straight or take a bus if you're tired. If walking, continue south on the main road for another 3 kilometers until you reach the town of Uvita. Look for signs leading to Cola de la ballena.

From your location in Manuel Antonio, walk to the nearest bus stop along the main road (Camino a la Playa). Take a bus heading towards Uvita, which should take around 30-40 minutes. From the bus stop, it’s about a 10-minute walk to reach Cola de la ballena.
