Public Transport
The public bus in Monteverde travels from Santa Elena to the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve and stops near Treetopia Park. The bus leaves Santa Elena at 6:15 am, 7:30 am, 9:30 am, 1:20 pm, and 3 pm. The cost is approximately $1.2 USD per person, payable in cash (USD or Colones). Check the current schedule as it may be limited.
