Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Monteverde (near the Monteverde Cloud Forest Biological Reserve), head south on C. 5 de Febrero towards the main road (Route 606). After approximately 600 meters, turn left onto Route 606. Continue walking for about 1.5 kilometers. Look for the sign for C. Los Camachos, which will be on your right. Turn onto C. Los Camachos and follow it for about 300 meters until you reach Wildlife Refuge Monteverde, located at the end of the road.

  • Bicycle

    If you have rented a bicycle, start at the Monteverde Cloud Forest Biological Reserve. Ride south on C. 5 de Febrero, continuing onto Route 606. Keep pedaling for about 1.5 kilometers. Be on the lookout for the turn onto C. Los Camachos on your right. Turn onto C. Los Camachos and cycle for about 300 meters to reach Wildlife Refuge Monteverde.
