Flying
The quickest way to reach The Tranquilo Lodge is by flying into Drake Bay Airport (DRK) from San José. Sansa Airlines offers daily flights. The flight is approximately 50 minutes. From the airport, The Tranquilo Lodge provides complimentary shuttle service to the property. Ensure flights and lodge transfer are booked in advance. A taxi from the airport to the lodge is about a 20-minute drive. There are no mandatory fees.

Boat
Another common way to arrive is by boat from Sierpe. Buses travel from San José to Sierpe. From Sierpe, boats depart for Drake Bay at 11:30 AM and 3:30 PM. The boat trip takes approximately 1 hour. The Tranquilo Lodge offers complimentary pickup from the beach in Drake Bay. The boat ride from Sierpe costs around $20. There are no additional fees.
