Walking
From Playa Flamingo, start by heading towards the main road (Route 911). Walk southeast along the beach until you reach the main road. It should take about 10-15 minutes. Once you reach Route 911, turn left and continue walking along the road. After approximately 1.5 kilometers, you will reach the junction where Route 911 intersects with Route 21. Continue walking straight on Route 21 for about 20-25 minutes until you reach the town of Huacas. At this point, you can either continue straight on Route 21 or take a local bus towards Liberia if available. If walking, proceed straight until you reach the intersection of Route 21 and Route 1. Turn right onto Route 1 and continue for about 15 kilometers towards Liberia. Once in Liberia, ask locals for directions to JHH6+XW5, where the Immaculate Conception of Mary Cathedral is located. It is about a 5-minute walk from the main square in Liberia.

From Playa Flamingo, head to the nearest bus stop along Route 911. Take a local bus heading to Liberia. The bus ride will take approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive in Liberia, disembark at the main bus terminal. From there, you can either ask for directions or use a map to navigate to JHH6+XW5. It's roughly a 15-minute walk from the bus terminal to the Immaculate Conception of Mary Cathedral. Just head southeast towards the main square, and then follow the local signs to the cathedral. You can also grab a taxi if you prefer a shorter walk.
