Getting There

Walking
From the center of Puerto Viejo, head southeast on the main road (Calle 213) towards Playa Cocles. Continue walking for approximately 2 kilometers until you reach the entrance to Cahuita National Park. Keep an eye out for signs directing you to Cahuita. Once you reach the park entrance, you will find signs pointing towards Cahuita. Keep walking for another 1.5 kilometers, and you will arrive at Cahuita Experience Surf School located on Calle Cahuita in Cahuita.

Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the many shops in Puerto Viejo. Start your journey by cycling southeast along the main road (Calle 213) towards Playa Cocles. After about 2 kilometers, turn right towards Cahuita and continue for another 1.5 kilometers until you reach Cahuita Experience Surf School on Calle Cahuita. Be cautious of traffic and enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way.

Bus
Head to the bus station in Puerto Viejo located on the main road. Look for a bus heading to Cahuita, which runs frequently throughout the day. The bus ride takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Cahuita, disembark at the main road. From there, walk approximately 1 kilometer on the main road (C. Cahuita) until you reach Cahuita Experience Surf School.

You can easily find a taxi or rideshare service in Puerto Viejo. Simply tell the driver you want to go to Cahuita Experience Surf School located on Calle Cahuita.
