Bicycle
Start from central Puerto Viejo. Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops, such as 'Coco's Bicycle Rental'. Head east on Calle 213 until you reach the intersection with Route 36 (Ruta Nacional Primaria 36). Turn left onto Route 36. Continue cycling for approximately 15 minutes. Look for the signs leading to Maratopia & Tour's on your right side, just before you reach Matama.

Walking
If you're feeling adventurous and want to walk, start from the center of Puerto Viejo. Head along Calle 213 towards the beach, then take a left onto Route 36 (Ruta Nacional Primaria 36). It's roughly a 1.5-hour walk. Stay on Route 36, and keep an eye out for Maratopia & Tour's on your right side as you approach Matama.

Public Transport
From the main bus station in Puerto Viejo, look for the local buses heading towards Bribri or Sixaola. Ask the driver to drop you off at Matama. The bus ride should take around 15-20 minutes. Once you get off, walk back along Route 36 for about 5 minutes, and you will see Maratopia & Tour's on your left.
