  • Walking

    From the center of Puerto Viejo, head south on Calle 219. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Avenida 71. Take a left onto Avenida 71, and follow this road for approximately 2 kilometers. You will start to see signs directing you to Parque Nacional Cahuita. The entrance to the park will be on your right.

  • Bicycle Rental

    Rent a bicycle from one of the many shops in Puerto Viejo. Once you have your bike, head south on Calle 219 and take a left onto Avenida 71. Cycling down Avenida 71 will take you directly to Parque Nacional Cahuita in about 15-20 minutes. Look out for the entrance on your right.

    From the main bus station in Puerto Viejo, take a bus heading towards Cahuita. Buses run frequently, so you shouldn't have to wait long. The ride will take about 30 minutes.
