Getting There

Car
From the center of Sarapiquí, head northeast on Route 32 towards La Virgen. Continue for about 13 km. After passing La Virgen, keep an eye out for the sign for Puerto Viejo de Sarapiquí. Turn right onto Route 4. Continue on this road for approximately 12 km until you reach the intersection with Route 126. Turn left onto Route 126 and drive another 3 km. Look for the sign for Chilamate Rainforest Eco Retreat on your right. Turn onto the dirt road leading to the retreat.

Public Transportation
From the main bus terminal in Sarapiquí, take a bus heading towards Puerto Viejo de Sarapiquí. The fare is approximately 500 CRC. Inform the bus driver that you wish to get off at the intersection with Route 126. Once you arrive, you will need to walk about 3 km along Route 126 towards the direction of Chilamate Rainforest Eco Retreat. Watch for the sign on your left side as you approach the retreat.
