To reach the Organization for Tropical Studies via public transport, take a local bus from Sarapiquí to Puerto Viejo de Sarapiquí. Buses are frequent, with a fare of approximately 700-1000 CRC. Alight in Puerto Viejo, from where you can walk or take a taxi. Walking northwest on the main road for about 1.5 km will bring you to CXJW+FHX, the location of OTS. A taxi from Puerto Viejo should cost around 3000-4000 CRC.

If driving from central Sarapiquí, head northwest on Route 126 until the junction with Route 32. Turn right onto Route 32 and drive for about 6 km. Look for signs for the Organization for Tropical Studies, located in Barrio Flaminia, Puerto Viejo de Sarapiquí. Continue on the main road to address CXJW+FHX. Free parking is available on-site.
