    From the Juan Santamaría International Airport (SJO) in San José, the lodge is approximately a 2-hour drive. Take Route 32 towards Guápiles, then follow signs to Sarapiquí. The roads are paved, but be prepared for some rough patches. Free parking is available on-site. A taxi from the airport will cost around $120.

  • Public Transport

    From San José, take a bus to Puerto Viejo de Sarapiquí from the bus station for the Caribbean side of the country. The bus station is located on Central Street road to Tibas, next door to Kamakiri. The bus fare is approximately $3. From Puerto Viejo de Sarapiquí, take a taxi to the lodge, which should cost around $8.
