Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car from Tortuguero National Park, first navigate to the nearest town with access to main roads, which is La Pavona. From La Pavona, you will need to take a boat to Moín and then drive. Once in Moín, head southwest on Route 32 towards San José. After approximately 100 km, take the exit toward Avenida 59. The Parque Diversiones is located about 2 km west of Hospital México on Avenida 59. Keep an eye out for local signage as you approach the area.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Parque Diversiones via public transportation, you will need to take a boat from Tortuguero to La Pavona. From La Pavona, catch a bus to San José. The bus ride will take about 3-4 hours. Once in San José, take a taxi or local bus toward Avenida 59. The Parque Diversiones is about 2 km west of Hospital México. Make sure to confirm the exact bus stop for your drop-off in San José to ensure easy access to a taxi or bus heading to the amusement park.

• Taxi

  If you prefer a more direct route, you can hire a taxi from San José once you arrive from La Pavona. Make sure to negotiate the fare beforehand or ask for the meter to be used. The taxi ride from downtown San José to Parque Diversiones will take approximately 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic.
