    The most common way to reach Skywalk Biokovo is by car. From Makarska, follow the Makarska-Vrgorac state road (D512). The entrance to Biokovo Nature Park is about 6 km east of Makarska. After paying the entrance fee, continue along the Biokovo Road for approximately 13 km to reach the Skywalk. Note that the Biokovo Road is a narrow, winding road with limited parking. Entry to the park is limited to 20 vehicles per hour. Typical Costs: * Entrance fee to Biokovo Nature Park: Approximately €8-€15 per adult, children under 7 are free.

On clear days, it's even possible to see the Italian coastline. The Skywalk itself is a semi-circular structure made of steel and glass, extending approximately 11 meters beyond the cliff edge. The glass floor provides a thrilling experience, giving the illusion of walking on air with a stunning view of the landscape below. Next to the Skywalk, a geological pillar presents a 3D overview of the rock formations of Mount Biokovo, detailing their history and composition. Opened in July 2020, Skywalk Biokovo is part of Biokovo Nature Park's initiative to promote eco-tourism and sustainable use of the park's natural heritage. The park itself spans nearly 20,000 hectares of mountainous terrain, featuring deep valleys, high peaks, and diverse landscapes. Biokovo is known for its unique karst formations, endemic plant species, paleontological sites, caves, and spectacular viewpoints.
