    From Zagreb's main square, Ban Jelačić Square, head east towards Ilica Street. Turn right onto Ilica and walk until you reach the intersection with Trg Kralja Tomislava. The square will be on your left, just beyond the Botanical Garden.

    From Ban Jelačić Square, take tram number 6 or 13 in the direction of 'Maksimir'. Get off at the 'Glavni Kolodvor' stop. The square is a short walk from the tram stop. A single 30-minute tram ticket costs €0.53.

Trg Kralja Tomislava, often called Tomislavac, is a vibrant square in the heart of Zagreb, Croatia, located between the Main Railway Station and Trg J.J. Strossmayera. The square is named after King Tomislav, the first king of Croatia, who united Croatian lands into one country and was crowned in 925 AD.The square is designed as a green park, forming part of the Lenuci horseshoe. The park provides a place for relaxation, featuring a central fountain. During the winter, the square hosts 'Ice Park Zagreb' as part of the Advent in Zagreb festivities.Dominating the square is a monument dedicated to King Tomislav, an equestrian statue that serves as a focal point. The Art Pavilion, built for the Budapest Millennial Exhibition in 1896 and later re-erected in Zagreb, marks the northern end of the square. The square has a rich history, initially named King Franz Joseph Square in 1895 to honor the Austro-Hungarian Emperor. It was later renamed to Trg Kralja Tomislava, reflecting Croatian national pride.
