Car
If you are traveling by car, you can start your journey from Split. Drive south on the D8 highway until you reach the ferry port in Split. Here, you will need to take a ferry to Supetar on Brač Island, which costs approximately 50 HRK per person and around 150 HRK for a car. Ferries run frequently, so check the schedule on the Jadrolinija website. Once you arrive in Supetar, continue driving towards the town of Bol and take the road that leads to the ferry terminal for a short ferry ride to Jelsa on Hvar Island. The fare for this ferry is around 35 HRK per person and 100 HRK for a car. After arriving in Jelsa, drive for about 10 km towards Vrboska, which will take approximately 15 minutes.

Public Transportation - Bus & Ferry
For those using public transportation, you can take a bus from Split to the ferry terminal at Split, where you can catch the ferry to Supetar on Brač Island. Buses to the ferry terminal can be found at the main bus station in Split, and tickets typically cost around 30 HRK. Once you arrive at Supetar, you can catch a bus to Bol. From Bol, take another bus to the ferry terminal to catch the ferry to Jelsa on Hvar Island. After arriving in Jelsa, there are local buses available that will take you to Vrboska, approximately a 15-minute ride. Ensure to check the local bus schedules in advance for accurate timing.

If you are already on Hvar Island or nearby, you can take a direct ferry from the mainland (Split) to Jelsa. Once you arrive in Jelsa, you can either take a taxi or a local bus to Vrboska. The taxi ride will take about 15 minutes and cost approximately 150 HRK. If you choose the bus, it will be a more economical option, costing around 20 HRK and will take about the same amount of time.
