Walking
From Dubrovnik's Old Town, the lower cable car station is easily accessible on foot. Exit the Old Town through the Pile Gate or Ploče Gate. From Pile Gate, walk north for about 10-12 minutes, following signs for the cable car. Alternatively, from Stradun, ascend the stairs towards Buža Gate, cross the Iza Grada parking lot, and take the stairs to the station. Be aware that the route from Stradun involves a significant number of steps. There is no cost associated with walking.
Public Transport
For visitors arriving by cruise ship at Gruž Harbour, take bus number 8 directly to the cable car station. A single bus ticket costs approximately €2, payable in cash to the driver. The journey takes around 10 minutes.
Taxi/Ride-Share
Taxis and ride-sharing services like Bolt are readily available in Dubrovnik. From Gruž Harbour, a taxi ride to the cable car station typically costs between €8-€12. The journey is approximately 10 minutes, depending on traffic.
