    Ferry

    From the Old Town of Dubrovnik, make your way to the ferry terminal located at the Port of Gruž. You can walk to the terminal from the Old Town by heading towards the Pile Gate, then take a left down the main road (Brsalje Street) and follow signs to the ferry terminal. Once at the terminal, purchase a ticket for the ferry to Lokrum Island. The ferry ride takes about 15 minutes. Upon arrival at Lokrum, you can follow the signs to Fort Royal, which is located on the western part of the island.

    After disembarking from the ferry at Lokrum Island, head towards the path that leads to Fort Royal. Follow the main trail that goes uphill through the lush greenery. The path is well-marked, and you will see signs directing you to Fort Royal. The walk will take approximately 20-30 minutes, and you will enjoy beautiful views of the surrounding area as you ascend.
