Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Old Town, head towards the main street called Stradun. Sponza Palace is located directly on Stradun at number 2. As you walk, you'll pass by several shops and cafes. Once you reach the large fountain in the center of Stradun, continue walking straight. The palace will be on your left side, easily recognizable by its beautiful stone facade.

    From Pile Gate, enter the Old Town and follow the main road, Stradun. Walk straight for about 10 minutes, passing by Onofrio's Fountain and the Franciscan Monastery on your left. Continue along Stradun, and Sponza Palace will be on your left at Stradun 2, just before you reach the Rector's Palace.

    If you are near the Dubrovnik Cathedral, exit the cathedral area and walk towards the main square. From there, head to Stradun and turn right.
