The most popular way to reach Fortica Fortress is by walking from Hvar Town. Start near the main square (Trg Sv. Stjepana) and walk north, passing through the main city gates (Porta di datallo). Follow the uphill path through the old town, with its restaurants and palaces, and continue through the pine tree forest. The walk takes approximately 20-30 minutes, offering scenic views along the way. No costs are involved.

Alternatively, you can take a taxi or drive to Fortica Fortress. Taxis are readily available in Hvar Town. Follow the road leading from the bus station uphill in a westerly direction. Parking is available near the entrance. A taxi ride from Hvar Town center will cost approximately 100 HRK. Parking is free.
