From Hvar Town's main square (Trg Sv. Stjepana), walk southwest towards the waterfront promenade (Riva). Continue along the Riva until you reach its end, then turn left onto the road leading uphill. The Franciscan Monastery will be on your left after a short walk. This is a pleasant, easy walk along the waterfront.

From the central bus station near Hvar's main square, take a local bus heading towards the outskirts of town. Get off at the Hvar City Museum stop. From there, follow the signs to the Franciscan Monastery, a 10-minute walk along Šetalište put Križa. Bus fares within Hvar Town are inexpensive, typically under 20 HRK.

Taxis are readily available in Hvar Town. A short taxi ride from the main square to the Franciscan Monastery will cost approximately 150 HRK, as there is a minimum fare for short trips from taxi ranks.
