Getting There

• Walking

  The Praetorian Palace is located on Tito Square in the heart of Koper's old town, making it easily accessible on foot from most locations in the city center. From the Koper bus station or the marina, walk towards the city center following signs for 'Titov trg'. The walk is approximately 15 minutes. As you approach the square, the palace will be directly in front of you.

• Public Transport

  From Koper Bus Station, you can take a local bus to Tržnica (Market Square), which is a short walk from Tito Square and the Praetorian Palace. Buses depart frequently, and the journey takes about 5 minutes. A single ticket costs between €1 and €2. Alternatively, from the Koper train station, you can take a bus to the city center. • Taxi

  Taxis are readily available in Koper. You can hail a taxi on the street or book one through a ride-hailing app. A short taxi ride from the Koper bus or train station to the Praetorian Palace will cost approximately €4 to €6.
