Walking
From the center of Makarska, head towards the waterfront promenade along the Adriatic Sea. Walk along the promenade until you reach the main square (Trg Frankopana). Continue straight towards the old town area, following the signs for Stari Grad. Once you reach the bus station in Stari Grad, turn left onto Ulica Petra Hektorovića. Continue walking for about 10 minutes, and you will arrive at the Fortress of Petar Hektorović, located at Trg Tvrdalj Petra Hektorovića 12.

From Makarska, go to the main bus station located near the center. Take a bus to Stari Grad; the journey should take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Stari Grad bus station, exit the station and turn left onto Ulica Petra Hektorovića.
