Getting There

Walking
Start your journey at the Makarska Promenade, known as 'Riva'. From here, head southeast along the promenade towards the main beach (Plaža Makarska). Continue walking until you reach the end of the beach, where you'll see a path leading into the pine forest. Follow this path, which runs parallel to the coastline. After about 20-30 minutes of walking, you will come across a sign that points towards Nugal Beach. The trail may be a bit steep in parts, so wear comfortable shoes. As you descend, you'll start to see the beautiful views of the Adriatic Sea. Keep going until you reach the rocky entrance to Nugal Beach.

Public Transportation
From the center of Makarska, walk to the nearest bus stop located on the main road (Obala kralja Tomislava). Take a local bus heading towards Tučepi or further south. Inform the driver that you want to get off at 'Nugal Beach' or at the closest stop. The bus journey will take about 10-15 minutes. Once you get off, follow the signs or ask locals for directions to the beach. It's a short walk down a path from the bus stop.
