Getting There

Walking
Start at the main square in Makarska (Trg Frankopana). From the square, head south towards the waterfront. Follow the waterfront promenade (Riva) to the end, where you will see the marina. Continue along the promenade until you reach the road leading out of town, which is called Obala kralja Tomislava. Turn left onto this road. Follow Obala kralja Tomislava until you reach the intersection with D8 (the main road). Turn right onto D8 and continue walking for about 1.5 kilometers. You will see signs for Tučepi. Keep walking straight, and eventually, you will reach Biokovska cesta. Turn left onto Biokovska cesta, and you will find Park prirode Biokovo.

Bus
From the main bus station in Makarska, board a bus heading towards Tučepi. The buses run regularly, approximately every 30 minutes. After about 15 minutes, you will arrive in Tučepi. Once you arrive, get off the bus at the last stop. Walk straight ahead until you reach Biokovska cesta. Turn left onto Biokovska cesta, and after a short walk, you will find Park prirode Biokovo.

Taxi
You can easily find a taxi at any point in Makarska. Simply flag one down, or you can ask your hotel to arrange one for you. Instruct the driver to take you to 'Park prirode Biokovo on Biokovska cesta in Tučepi.' The ride will take approximately 10-15 minutes depending on traffic, and the driver will drop you off directly at the entrance.
