If you're traveling by car, start from the center of Zagreb. Head north towards Medvednica Mountain via the D1 road. Follow the signs to Tkalčićeva Street, and then continue onto Medvednica. Once on Medvednica, look for signs directing you to the Water Well. There is limited parking available near the site, so be sure to arrive early to secure a spot.

Public Transportation
You can take public transportation from Zagreb to Medvednica. Catch tram number 14 from any central tram stop in Zagreb towards 'Dubrava'. Get off at 'Mali Bukovec' stop. From there, you will need to walk approximately 30 minutes along the marked trails leading to the Water Well. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and carry water, as the trail can be steep in some areas. Alternatively, you could take a taxi from the tram stop if you prefer not to walk.

For those already in Medvednica Mountain, there are several hiking trails that lead to the Water Well. Look for the trail markers. The main trail starts from the Medvedgrad Fortress, which is a popular starting point. Follow the blue hiking trail signs for about 1 hour until you reach the Water Well. Be prepared with appropriate hiking gear and check the weather conditions before heading out.
