After getting off the bus, follow the signs leading to the lake, which is about a 20-minute walk from the bus stop.

Turn left onto the main road (D501) leading away from Opatija. Continue straight for about 15 kilometers. You'll pass through some beautiful countryside. Keep an eye out for signs pointing to Lokvarsko jezero, which will guide you to the lake. The ride may take around 1 to 1.5 hours.
