From Opatija, head to the main bus station located at Trg Slobode 1. Look for the bus line heading towards Delnice or Crni Lug. Purchase your ticket from the kiosk or the driver. The bus ride should take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Crni Lug, disembark at the stop closest to Bela Vodica. From there, walk about 500 meters northeast along the road, and you will reach Risnjak National Park at Bela Vodica 48.

If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from any location in Opatija. Simply call a local taxi service or use a ride-hailing app. Provide the driver with the address: Bela Vodica 48, 51317, Crni Lug. The journey will take around 30 minutes, depending on traffic, and will drop you off directly at the entrance of Risnjak National Park.

Walking (from Crni Lug)
If you are already in Crni Lug after arriving by bus, you can walk to Risnjak National Park. Start at the bus stop and head northeast along the main road. Continue for about 500 meters and you will find the entrance to Risnjak National Park at Bela Vodica 48. The walk is pleasant and provides scenic views of the surrounding area.
