Start at the Opatija Bus Station (Autobusni kolodvor Opatija). Look for the bus heading to 'Rijeka.' Purchase your ticket from the kiosk or the driver. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the bus stop 'Rijeka, Žabica.' Once in Rijeka, look for the bus to 'Crni Lug.' This bus runs several times a day, so check the schedule. It takes about 40 minutes to reach 'Crni Lug.' The bus will drop you off close to the entrance of Risnjak National Park.

Train and Bus
Begin at the Opatija Bus Station and take a bus to 'Rijeka, Glavni Kolodvor' (the main train station). Once you arrive at the train station, purchase a ticket for a train to 'Delnice.' The train ride lasts about 50 minutes. Upon arriving in Delnice, exit the train station and catch a local bus to 'Crni Lug.' This bus ride will take approximately 20 minutes, bringing you directly to the entrance of Risnjak National Park.

Walking and Local Taxi
If you prefer a more adventurous route, you can take a scenic walk from Opatija. Head towards the coastal path that leads towards the nearby town of Ika. From Ika, take a local taxi to 'Crni Lug.' The taxi ride should only take about 15 minutes, dropping you off at the entrance of Risnjak National Park.
