From Zadar, take the Jadrolinija ferry from Gaženica port to Brbinj on Dugi Otok. The ferry ride takes approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes. From Brbinj, take bus route 201 towards Veli Rat. Ask the driver if the bus passes near Sakarun Beach. Get off at Soline, the closest village to the beach. From Soline, it's a short walk to Sakarun Beach. Ferry tickets cost approximately €2-€7. Bus fare is around 10 kuna.

Ferry and Tourist Train
Alternatively, take a ferry from Zadar to Božava. Note that ferries to Božava may have limited departures, especially on weekdays. From Božava, a tourist train connects to Sakarun Beach. The train departs from Hotel Maxima. A taxi from Božava to the beach costs around 80 HRK. Ferry tickets cost approximately €2-€7.
