Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are in the Old Town area (Diocletian's Palace), head towards the western exit of the palace at the Golden Gate (Zlatna Vrata). Once outside, continue straight through the narrow streets until you reach the main street called Marmontova. Turn left onto Marmontova and walk straight for about 5 minutes. You will come to the intersection with the square in front of the City Hall, known as People's Square (Pjaca).

    If you are near the Riva (the waterfront promenade), walk away from the sea towards the main pedestrian street, Marmontova. Follow Marmontova Street to the right for approximately 10 minutes. You will see a sign pointing to the left towards People's Square (Pjaca) as you approach the City Hall area. Turn left, and you will arrive at the square.

    From the main bus station in Split, walk towards the waterfront and take the path to the left along the Riva. Continue walking until you reach the end of the Riva, then turn left onto Marmontova Street. Walk straight ahead for about 10 minutes, and look for the signs directing you to People's Square (Pjaca) which will be on your right as you reach the City Hall.

    From the Split ferry terminal, exit and walk straight towards the Riva. Once you reach the waterfront, turn left and walk along the promenade. Continue walking for about 10 minutes until you reach Marmontova Street. Turn right onto Marmontova, walk straight, and follow signs for People's Square (Pjaca) which will be on your left as you approach the City Hall.
