If you're already in Split's Old Town, reaching the Model of the Historical Core is an easy 10-15 minute walk. Head towards the Riva promenade along the waterfront. The model is located at Obala Hrvatskog narodnog preporoda 23, next to a parking lot and in front of the south entrance to Diocletian's Palace. No costs involved.

Public Transport
If arriving by bus or train, Split's main bus and train stations are across the street from the ferry terminal, about a 20-minute walk to the historical core. Alternatively, take a local bus (lines 5, 8, or 18) to the city center; the Model of the Historical Core is a short walk from the bus stop. A single bus ticket costs around €2.50. Tickets can be purchased at a kiosk or via the Promet Split app.

Taxis are readily available in Split. A short taxi ride from the Split bus or train station to the Model of the Historical Core will cost approximately €5-€10. Ensure the driver activates the meter for transparent pricing. Uber and Bolt are also available.

If driving, parking near the historical core is limited and can be expensive. The closest parking lot is Riva (Obala Hrvatskog narodnog preporoda 2), but it's also the priciest. Hourly rates range from €4 during the summer to €2 during the winter. Other parking lots, such as the Train Station Parking Lot (Obala kneza Domagoja 12), are a bit further but may offer better rates. Be aware of parking zones and time limits.
