Walking
If you are already in Maksimir Park, head towards the main path that runs through the park. Follow this path until you reach the large clearing known as the Maksimir Pond (Maksimirsko jezero). From the pond, continue straight until you see the entrance to the Zoološki vrt (Zagreb Zoo) on your left. The Advent u zoološkom vrtu event is held inside the zoo, so you will need to enter through the main entrance.

Public Transportation (Tram)
If you are farther away in Maksimir Park, you can take a tram from the nearest tram stop, which is 'Maksimir' located on the edge of the park. Board tram number 11 or 12 and get off at the 'Maksimir' stop. From there, walk back towards the zoo entrance, which is located just a short distance from the tram stop. Look for signs indicating the direction to the zoo.

Bicycling
If you prefer to bike, there are designated bike paths in Maksimir Park. You can ride along the paths until you see signs directing you to the Zoološki vrt. The bike racks are available at the zoo entrance where you can safely lock your bike before entering the event.
