Walking
Start from the center of Kyrenia, near the harbor where the Kyrenia Castle is located. Head east along the waterfront promenade for about 500 meters until you reach the junction with Atatürk Avenue. Turn left onto Atatürk Avenue and continue walking straight for about 1 kilometer. You will pass several cafes and shops on your way. After reaching the intersection with Mehmet Akif Street, continue straight; you will see signs indicating directions to Nicosia. Follow the signs as you walk for another 2 kilometers. As you approach the outskirts of Kyrenia, you will start to see more local businesses and less tourist shops. Keep walking until you reach the main road leading to Nicosia. This area will transition into a more residential district. After approximately 3 kilometers from the city center, you will reach the entrance of the city gate, Kyrenia Gate, which is located at the border of North Nicosia.

Public Transport (Bus)
From Kyrenia, make your way to the main bus station, which is located on the southern edge of the city center. Look for the bus marked 'Nicosia' or 'Lefkoşa' (the Turkish name for Nicosia). Purchase a ticket from the kiosk or the bus driver. Buses typically leave every 30 minutes. The journey to Nicosia will take about 30 minutes. After arriving at the Nicosia bus terminal, exit the bus and head towards the city center. Walk straight ahead for about 10 minutes until you reach the main road, which is known as Atatürk Boulevard. Continue walking straight on Atatürk Boulevard until you see the signs for Kyrenia Gate. It will be a prominent landmark on your right side.
