Nicosia's Old City is best explored on foot. From Eleftheria Square, walk through the heart of the Old City via Ledra Street, a pedestrian zone with shops and cafes. As you walk, look for signs directing you to key landmarks such as the Büyük Han and Selimiye Mosque. There is no fee to enter the Old City.

Public Transport
The Nicosia Bus Company provides service to the Old City, with many routes converging at Solomos Square. From Solomos Square, it's a short walk to the Venetian Walls and the entrance to the Old City. A single bus fare is approximately €2.40. Consider purchasing a Motion card for cheaper fares if you plan to use public transport frequently.

Taxis are readily available in Nicosia and can drop you off at various points around the Old City. A taxi from Eleftheria Square to the heart of the Old City will cost approximately €16-€20. Ensure the taxi is metered or agree on a fare before starting your journey.

If driving, several parking lots are available near the Old City, including Ariadnis Street, Lefkonos Street and Eshilou Street. Parking fees vary, but expect to pay around €2 for the first hour, €3 for up to 3 hours, €4 for up to 5 hours. Some parking areas offer all-day rates for around €6. Be aware that parking within the Old City can be limited and congested.
