    If driving from within the Troodos National Forest Park, navigate towards the main road leading to Pano Amiantos. The garden is approximately 10 minutes away by car. Once in Pano Amiantos, follow the signs directing you to the Troodos Botanical Garden, located at WWH8+H8C. Parking is available at the entrance. Be aware that the road can be narrow and winding in places.

    From Limassol, take bus route 64 towards Troodos. The bus stops at Troodos Square. From Troodos Square, it's approximately 3km to the Botanical Garden, you can walk (approximately 45 minutes) or take a taxi. Alternatively, from Troodos Square, check for local bus services heading towards Pano Amiantos. The bus frequency may vary, so confirm the schedule in advance. Alight at Pano Amiantos, from where it is approximately a 15-minute walk to the Troodos Botanical Garden. Follow the signs leading to the garden. Bus fare from Troodos Square to Pano Amiantos is approximately €2-€3.

The Troodos Botanical Garden, officially named the Troodos Botanical Garden “A.G. Leventis,” offers a tranquil escape into the heart of Cyprus's natural beauty. Situated within the Troodos National Forest Park, near Pano Amiantos village, this garden sits at an elevation of 1,400 meters, providing a refreshing mountain atmosphere. Established in 2004 by the Department of Forests, the garden occupies a portion of the former Amiantos asbestos mine, which ceased operations in 1988. This transformation from an industrial site to a flourishing garden highlights the potential for ecological renewal and serves as an educational example of land rehabilitation. The garden is home to over 250 plant species, with plans to expand to over 500, each carefully curated and arranged into thematic sections. These sections include endemic plants, riverine vegetation, an arboretum, and aromatic and traditional garden plants. Visitors can explore the Visitor Center and Herbarium, which offer high-quality services and information about Troodos flora through various displays and high-technology devices. A documentary film about Troodos flora is available in Greek or English. The Herbarium allows visitors to study fresh or dry plant material in detail using stereoscopes and other equipment. The garden also features an educational yard for outdoor activities, a viewpoint with a telescope, and various thematic sections showcasing different plant species. Adjacent to the Troodos Botanical Garden is the Troodos Geopark, a UNESCO Global Geopark that offers insights into the geological history of the Troodos Mountains. Visitors can explore the Geopark's visitor center, observation points, and specialized library to learn about the formation of the island and its unique geological features.
