Located on Paphos Point, the Paphos Lighthouse is a significant historical landmark within the Kato Paphos Archaeological Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Although no longer manned, the lighthouse is fully automated and powered by solar energy, with the capacity to store energy for 25 days. Its light, a long white flash every fifteen seconds, is visible from 17 nautical miles.Visitors can explore the grounds surrounding the lighthouse and enjoy panoramic views of the Mediterranean Sea and the Paphos coastline. The lighthouse is easily accessible and is a popular spot for romantic strolls and photography, especially around sunset.
